Good Morning Everyone!

Or more like the 10 people who will read this including my mom (Hi Mom).

So I started my own blog page! If you are wondering why, well I find writing super therapeutic and the best way to express myself. I have been doing the picture things on Instagram for a while and wanted the writing portion to go hand in hand with that. I have been thinking about starting my own blog for a while now so here it is and I am happy your here!

I have been wanting to talk about how I got here and what I do on Instagram aka influencing for a while (I will be going more in depth in future bog posts) just to explain why I do it and all about it as no one ever really asks. It's like as soon as you tell people you do influencing, there's a stigma attached to it as not real work. I am here to tell you it's a lot of work and if you calculate out your hourly rate vs the amount of time and energy you put into it, you are most likely making peanuts.

For me it started with my friend telling me I should do brand representing with my kids. It was awesome to work hand in hand with small shops to promote their products and for my kids to have the cutest clothing (I still love working with a bunch of small shops!). As I grew my account, I felt myself being pulled towards the "influencer" portion of Instagram as I wanted to share more, show myself more and talk more (hence this blog thing).

So I worked my butt off day and night to grow my account to what it is now. It's still a ton of work and not for the faint of heart. For me it's been a great way to express myself creatively right from home. It combined my love of photography with writing to wrap it up into this fun package that was under my own control. I have been lucky to work towards being able to monetize my platform and work with a lot of great brands both big and small and I am excited for the new opportunities coming with 2021.

So thank you for being a part of this new adventure and venture as I try to make my way through this.
